Decorating Tips
A good way to display kids art, postcards, Christmas cards, etc is with simple clothespins and wire. Clothespins are so decorative now and come in so many style and color options. The hanging wire can be twine, curtain rods, or a more permanent and modern fixture as shown here.
Always accessorize in odd numbers. Play with different proportions, heights, and shapes when clustering items together.
Go dark! Dark walls do the opposite than what you think for small spaces. Dark paint can make a small room feel bigger.
Chalk board labeled drawers are a fun way to dress up a dresser in a kids room, the utility room, craft room, mud room or even kitchen. Kirklands (shown on the right) has a great 6-drawer dresser for $149.99.
